Legislative situation
[edit]The legislative situation in Austria supports freedom of panorama. Everybody is allowed to take photographs of artwork that is permanently installed in public space and upload the pictures to Wikimedia Commons (see COM:CRT/Austria#Freedom of panorama).
Lists of Public Art
[edit]Only big cities in Austria provide data of publicly owened artwork. So we chose the city of Vienna and the city of Linz, which both have unique identifiers for their public artwork, and created lists in the German speaking Wikipedia (see de:Liste der Kunstwerke im öffentlichen Raum in Wien und de:Liste der Kunstwerke im öffentlichen Raum in Linz).
