Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 in the United Arab Emirates
Wiki Loves Monuments is an intense historic sites around the world through Wikimedia projects (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). The competition is open to all. There are a lot of monuments and heritage sites in the United Arab Emirates, and the goal of Wiki Loves Monuments is to encourage people to take pictures of those monuments and to put them under a free license so that others may access them through the Internet.
Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 in the United Arab Emirates is the 3rd edition of Wiki Loves Monuments in the United Arab Emirates. The contest will take place from 1 October 2023 to 31 October 2023.
In October, you may upload as many pictures as you want of monuments sites that you have visited. The pictures don't have to be taken in October, but must be uploaded during that month to be considered. Provide your photo with {{Wiki Loves Monuments 2023|ae}} template. At the end of the October, the contest jury will begin evaluating the photographs and will choose the best 10 pictures of the monumental sites in the United Arab Emirates, and ultimately in the world.

Competition rules
We try to keep the competition clean and simple to participate. There are only a few rules for photos to participate in the contest in the United Arab Emirates. Let's quickly go through them.
All entries must be original photographs uploaded by their authors.
All photos must be uploaded from October 1st to October 31st 2023, to be eligible
All photos must be under a free license
Participants must have an active email account.
Lists of eligible sites are published here Photos of representative species (Monuments, Forts, Heritage sites, worhsip places etc.) taken in an eligible site also qualify if they are properly identified.
Captions and description are required
Make sure that there are no visible watermarks
All photos must have at least 6Mpx.
