Photographing Thailand's Heritage Sites

Eligible sites in Thailand for 2013 are:

• Ancient Monuments registered under Act on Ancient Monuments, Antiques, Objects of Art and National Museums 1961 (alternative name: Historical Sites, Archaeological Objects, Art Objects and National Museum Act B.E. 2504). In other words, the sites must be documented in the Royal Thai Government Gazette.
• Any other ancient monument documented in the Thai Fine Art Department database.

The lists are currently by province (see the category w:th:หมวดหมู่:รายชื่อโบราณสถานที่ขึ้นทะเบียนโดยกรมศิลปากร on Thai Wikipedia). There are approximately 8,500+ sites in total and the data is well maintained by the Thai Fine Arts Department. Country wide list and map is also available at http://www.gis.finearts.go.th/gisweb/viewer.aspx (in Thai only).

• โบราณสถานที่ขึ้นทะเบียนโดยกรมศิลปากรตามพระราชบัญญัติโบราณสถาน โบราณวัตถุ ศิลปวัตถุ และพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. ๒๕๐๔ และได้ประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาแล้ว
• โบราณสถานอื่นในรายชื่อของกรมศิลปากร
