What is Wiki Loves Folk?

[edit]
Wiki Loves Folk is a public photo competition in which readers and contributors of Wikipedia are asked to take pictures of festival and to upload them to Wikimedia Commons. The contest was first organized by Wikimedia Spain in 2016 and Amical Wikimedia joined the contest in the 2017 edition. Wiki Loves Folk has collected more than 5200 photos over the past two years that can be used on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. In the three first editions, 160 contributors participated.

What is the scope of this project?

[edit]
Yes! You are free to upload as many pictures as you want, from as many countries as you want — as long as they participate in the contest this year.
