This year Uzbekistan will take part in the famous Wiki Loves Earth photo contest. This contest is dedicated to the natural heritage sites and runs worldwide: in 2024 54 countries will take part, and Uzbekistan is one of them!

Basics

  • Take pictures of natural heritage sites in Uzbekistan and upload them to Wikimedia Commons.
  • Only the listed sites are accepted. The list of sites is provided by the organizers in four languages: Uzbek, Karakalpak, Russian and English.
  • You should take photos yourself and release them under a free license like CC-BY-SA-4.0.
  • Photos can be taken at any time, but should be uploaded between May 15, 00:00 and June 15, 23:59 (UTC+5).

Wiki Loves Earth — 2024 in Uzbekistan is organized by Wikimedians of the Uzbek language User Group together with Russian Wikivoyage community.
