- Is it allowed to use Photoshop or other photo editing software to edit my photograph before I upload it?
- Yes. You can make some adjustments by using photo editing software but are limited to adjusting the brightness, contrast, and color saturation. Avoid changing colors that are too conspicuous. WikiKaleidoskop 2.0 is a photograph competition, not a digital image editing competition.
- I have a collection of photo that fit the theme, but I took them outside of the competition period. Can I use that photo in this competition?
- Yes, you can. As long as you upload the photographs during the competition period.
- Is there any limitation on the number of photographs uploaded?
- No. You may upload as many photographs as you want. However, we advise you to upload the best ones you have.
- Where should I upload the photos for this contest?
- Use this page to upload photos for WikiKaleidoskop. Please do not use Upload Wizard on the main page of Wikimedia Commons because the images will not be indexed to be selected on WIkiKaleidoskop. For exception, there is a particular page for upload during Wiki Loves Earth, which can be accessed here.
- I do not fully understand Creative Commons licensing. Where can I find more information about them?
