Description

The Suez Canal Bridge crosses the Canal at El Qantara. It is also known as the Shohada 25 January Bridge or the Egyptian-Japanese Friendship Bridge. Construction by the KAJIMA Corp (with the Japanese government funding 60% of the project), began in 1995 and the bridge opened in 2001. [1]
