Public Domain Mark
So our guidance is that Flickr's Public Domain Mark is not an acceptable "license" for use on Commons (i.e. {{Flickr-public domain mark}}), but the Upload Wizard still allows it entry. Could the wizard be changed to automatically reject such images, rather than create additional confusion amongst uploaders? Or is there a reason I'm not seeing for it's continued acceptance here? — Huntster (t @ c) 04:11, 19 March 2020 (UTC)

- Hey Huntster. The community specifically asked the developers to have UploadWizard tag them with {{Flickr-public domain mark}} due to it being an invalid license (so that people could replace them with proper PD licenses or delete them).[1][2] If you would prefer that UploadWizard not allow Flick'r public domain mark at all, I think you would need to show some kind of consensus for that since it goes against what other community members have requested.
