PISU 2017 Photo Challengewas a photography content and crowdsourcing event in which participants photograph and upload images of Kosovo to Wikimedia Commons. These images are then available for free use on Wikipedia and beyond. The competition takes place from 9-20 July 2018 organized under the auspice of University of Prishtina Prishtina International Summer University by meta:Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group and FLOSSK, a free software and free knowledge NGO in Kosovo.
Everyone is welcome to contribute. Participants upload pictures taken by themselves of eligible subjects and upload them to Wikimedia Commons during the content period under a free license.
Uploaded photographs do not have to be taken during the period itself, but they must not have been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons before.
Participants are free to upload photographs of any eligible subject, even if Commons already has one or more photographs, but of course a new angle or a new detail is more useful to the project than simply repeating what has been done before.
You are allowed to upload as many photos as you want. More photos, higher chance of winning.
Best photo will be announced at the PISU conclusion ceremony.
