Wikimedia Commons 2020 such was the name of the presentation of user Juandev on the annual winter conference of Wikimedia Poland held in Kalisz, January 26-27, 2019. The goal was to get the polish wikimedians and active Commons's contributors to know, about the changes relating the Commons Structured Data project and be prepered for them.
Firstly Juandev shown the actual state with the caption line and possible future look of file pages on Commons by 2020. Than reason for this change was explained as a previous will of Wikimedia Community to lower bariers in contributing build by english-only categories or lack of search options for specific files. Participants were than annimated to explain Wikimedia Commons and file page to others. The same explanation came from Wikidata users. On the end those without deeper knowledge of Wikidata were challenged to get in touch with Wikidata and invited on the following presentations focusing this topic.
First of the following presentation was provided by Yarl and it was a crash course to Wikidata (in Polish: Wprowadzenie do Wikidanych + Q&A), the second provided by Powerek38 was about the semi automated ways of contributing (Jak mieć dziesiątki tysięcy edycji na Wikidanych, będąc leniwym humanistą?). Wikimedia Poland continue to support both communities contribution to Wikidata will be with a high probability highlighted again on the annual conference in summer.
