Oppose Lacks sharpness. Sorry. --Ermell 21:48, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
I disagree. Probably sharpness is not great, but I think it's acceptable. --Halavar 22:52, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support I agree, and the photo is good, overall. -- Ikan Kekek 07:52, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support per Ikan. Nice lighting and decent colours.--Smial 22:21, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

  •  Support A bit dark but acceptable for the mood. --King of Hearts 08:06, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I think it should be lightened. --Charlesjsharp 10:31, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  • Note that it was taken at 5:27 AM. --King of Hearts 14:55, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Yes, I think the light here is fine, although the halo on the right leg of the person on the far left is a small drawback...--Peulle 08:11, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
  • Weak  Support. The lens used obviously shows relatively strong blur at the edge of the image when the aperture is fully open. This is often observed with such universal zooms. Certainly, technically better results can be achieved with an assortment of high-quality special lenses, fixed focal lengths, etc. - but who wants to or can carry a bunch of kilo heavy glass on such tours? I would have stopped down one or two stops and if necessary accepted ISO200 or ISO400. Otherwise, the subject, lighting, sharpness in the essential parts of the image and the image composition are more than adequate for QIC. --Smial 10:51, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  •  Comment Sharpness and light are fine, but please work on the halo mentioned by Peulle above. -- Ikan Kekek 07:56, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

  •  Oppose The cows are just too disturbing, to me this is not a QI of the castle --Poco a poco 22:02, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
  • Ferme means farm in French. I can add the cows in the description if you'd like but I think it's entirely appropriate for them to be in this setting either way. --Trougnouf 22:17, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Good quality and per Trougnouf. -- Ikan Kekek 23:22, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
  •  Comment I'm not bothered about the cows being on a farm, but the image itself seems tilted CW.--Peulle 10:58, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Per Ikan. @Peulle: I see your point, but all verticals appear vertical enough to me. Could be optical illusion? --Smial 10:58, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
  • It certainly could be. I'm looking at the verticals on the far left - don't they seem like they're leaning in?--Peulle 12:09, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
Comment I believe the old barn on the left is crooked. One edge is clearly leaning in, the other is near vertical. Some Windows are leaning in, but some are even leaning out. --Smial 07:32, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Fair enough, I'm convinced.--Peulle 08:20, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

  •  Oppose As most digital images it needs a bit of enhancing filter, Unsharp mask or similar. Be aware of that every time you open/save a jpg you increase the lost of information, to my understanding it is better to save in png. This even if the first save was in jpg. Check your digital camera or app that the quality of the save is set to 100%, the default is often 90 %. Please also add Caption and geographical (place, gps) information to the information page of the image. --Goran tek-en 17:33, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
  •  Comment Thanks for the review. I have added the GPS position. Please note that I develop all my images from the RAW files, to be saved in the tif.format. Only in the last step the file is saved in the .jpg-format. I don't see any problem with the sharpness here. Please be aware that it is a 27 MB file. If you really think that images should be uploaded in the png-format, please didscuss this issue in the Discussion section, e.g. of the QIC page. I'd like to hear more opinions, which is why I'll move the image to the Consensual Review section. Regards, --Cayambe 17:55, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Really solid quality to my eyes. -- Ikan Kekek 05:51, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Comment Slight overexposure - the white ropes are burnt and have therefore lost detail. Will change to pro, if corrected. I can not see relevant jpg artifacts. PNG is not very suitable for most photos, because the file size would be HUGE without having many advantages in terms of displaying details over JPG saved with low compression. Of course, for particularly critical motifs, it is advantageous that PNG can also offer images with 16-bit color depth. But I think it is completely absurd to demand this generally for QIC. As long as no format with lossy compression, but greater color depth than JPG, has established itself as the standard, we will probably have to continue to make do with the 256 levels per color channel. --Smial 12:09, 1 September 2021 (UTC) Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  • ✓ Done New version uploaded, reworked from the RAW file. The white ropes have recovered their details. --Cayambe 20:24, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Convinced. --Smial 22:13, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
  •  Support Good quality. Agreed that JPG is good enough for QI. --Tagooty 03:04, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
