  • @Hans-Jürgen Neubert: : I have addressed these spots, or what appears to be them when you blow up the image to 200% and invert the colors and try to look at the screen at oblique angles (about the only way, after I have meticulously cleaned up all the spots I saw before nominating it (on top of what I'd already done before even uploading it. • @Daniel Case: I added some notes, but stopped bcs. the song is over (Norah Jones (Wish I could)). Normally I´m not such a small-squared egghead, but I have issues with your high-end comments and your own results...General, I have problems with your kind of saturation (that´s not Nikon, just your style, imo it´s to high). I trust the green (in the shadows, too), but many times not the sky (but could be that kind of blue) and really wondering about bevels (could be - german word "Kantenbruch" is more exact) Looks for me, like old buggy Versions made with GIMP (see notes). I start actually with my new technical toy, used as FX remote control (really recommended tip for Nikon, my old body handle it), it´s a droid tablet with 10,1 inches @ 1.920 x 1.200 Pixel Reso, take one finger and move the image and when I see at this small size bugs, then it´s far away from QI (Sharpness need bigger screens). Colours and WB is really high (I call it Bonbon-shop), typically Samsung and Droid, too. You see I´m not talking about HiRez and calibrated screens from Eizo. It´s not fair from your side, bcs. reviewing a image is foreign time, my time and mostly I generate a complete new development at this time....Sorry, but for me this is the last time I count your spots. •  Oppose I see several dust spots in the sky, looking at the image at normal 100% resolution on my 13" Macbook pro screen.--Peulle 12:12, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose All images from this series look a bit over-processed. (May be this occured already in the camera through customizing its parameters. We don't know.) Hans-Jürgen Neubert already addressed several points in his comment. What disturbs me most is the extreme edge sharpening combined with noise reduction. It smeared out details on earth, but at the same time produced an edge between earth and the sky which appears to be sharper than reality. This makes the image look as if an unsharp image of the mountain were cut out with scissors and then were glued onto a blue background. The effect is even more pronounced for the other images from the series. --Johannes Robalotoff 13:28, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  •  I withdraw my nomination At some point in the future, I will start over again from the raw file and overwrite this one with an eye toward what is acceptable here. Daniel Case 21:17, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Oppose I disagree Greasy Sky --Hans-Jürgen Neubert 10:35, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Dust spots. Also quite dark, but I'm not sure about that yet.--Peulle 12:08, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose Yes, there was dust on the sensor during that journey, as discussed weeks ago. It could have been removed more completely from the sky with the help of a clone tool. But I find that very minor for this image. The main problem is instead: Details on earth are smeared out, and at the same time the edge between sky and earth was extremely sharpened during processing. Looks as if an unsharp image of the mountains were cut out with scissors and glued onto a blue background. Better reduce software edge sharpening. This might even give you back some detail on the mountains, because the edge sharpening algorithm tends to kill low-contrast detail too, not only the noise reduction algorithm. --Johannes Robalotoff 13:39, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
