[edit]

  • Nomination Wooden common kestrel sculpture by Ad Wouters in Oud-Heverlee, Belgium. --Trougnouf 22:08, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose Too much noise/artefacts (ISO 3200) --Discostu 07:50, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
    •  Comment I think it's reasonable. ISO3200 isn't that much on a full-frame camera, and with the civil twilight diffused light I didn't have to turn the exposure down in the camera (and up in software). It would have benefited if I carried my tripod but I don't think it's required here. --Trougnouf 08:18, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
    •  Comment I uploaded and nominated File:Torenvalk_(DSC_3525).jpg which is slightly sharper due to f/4.0. (ISO500 is meaningless there because EV is increased in software, with ISO invariant sensor it's safer to set camera EV down. I think the f/4 version has the equivalent of ISO1600.) --Trougnouf 09:31, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

  • Nomination Banana Pi BPI-M1+ --Trougnouf 12:50, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose Left parts of the board unsharp, sorry --PantheraLeo1359531 12:58, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
    •  Comment I think it looks sharp at reasonable zoom; every one of the tiny components is clearly identifiable, and at full zoom we can clearly see how dusty the board is. The components that stick out (Ethernet, USB, IR) are blurry, is that to be expected or focus stacking is required here? --Trougnouf 08:30, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Dull lighting, distracting background, leaning. Not a quality tabletop photo. --Smial 15:46, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
Total: 0 support (excluding the nominator), 2 oppose → Declined   --A.Savin 02:10, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

I already adviced in an other nomination, to use a RAW converter for CA removal. It's up to you to follow or not, but for me no reason to repeat myself over and over again. --A.Savin 12:27, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

  • Promotion
  •  Oppose Looks oversaturated --Discostu 22:22, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
    •  Comment I don't think so. The tiles are very bright, and it pops up with the wetness and the golden hour. I didn't apply any more saturation than usual, and I actually lowered it a bit after your review (and used Adobe RGB) but the difference is not perceptible. There is a slight improvement when I use a wide gamut color space (Rec. 2020) [1] but Wikimedia Commons doesn't support lossy >8-bits format yet [2]. I uploaded the raw file on [3] --Trougnouf 07:33, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
      •  Support I have tried to redevelop the uploaded raw file and got very close result. IMO there is no problem with saturation. --LexKurochkin 15:29, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
