Browser compatibility

[edit]

Some scripts provide a summary of known browser (in)compatibility, eg Help:Gadget-HotCat/Compatibility. You could set up the matrix and fill in what you know, and ask users to contribute filling it in. Rd232 (talk) 01:15, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Slide show in 'My uploads'

[edit]

Is it possible to add the Slide show option in 'My uploads'? Wiki-uk (talk) 14:42, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I am thinking about that. It will be available as a new "view" option. But I can't say when it will ready. -- RE rillke questions? 11:17, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting?

[edit]

It would be very nice if the tool could detect if the user viewing the page is a sysop (I am not sure if that's possible) and then add a deletion link if so. Great job on it, by the way! Killiondude (talk) 04:52, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For editing (all kinds of batch-editing) there is VisualFileChange. It might be possible that I extend it for deleting. Thanks for the feedback and nice words. -- RE rillke questions? 19:51, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
VisualFileChange is now able to delete. Someone should update MediaWiki:Gadget-GalleryDetails.js so it could be used here and also for deletion. -- Rillke(q?) 19:47, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Filter "not in category xy"

[edit]

Hi! Is there a possibility to set an option like this: Uploaded by User and not in category Media with locations? Danke für das schöne Tool! --Schelm (talk) 16:47, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! An Option as mentioned before would be great. For example I would like a list with thumbnails of all my uploaded photos but without the photos which I've import from MushroomObserver.org. The MO-Files are in Category:Images from Mushroom Observer. --Ak ccm (talk) 11:44, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sort by usage

[edit]

Hi there! Great tool! One suggestion: it would be really great to be able to sort by the usage count of the pictures in different wikis. Thanks--Codrin.B (talk) 08:25, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Use GLAMorous by Magnus Manske. GLAMorous has direct database access; this tool doesn't and the API does not allow sorting by usage count so this would be only possible with a lot of coding efforts and a long waiting-time. -- Rillke(q?) 09:37, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Great tip! That works. Thanks! --Codrin.B (talk) 20:35, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Store findings in local storage

[edit]

In order to speed-up this tool, it would be great if it would store the titles it found in DOM storage so the user does not have to wait so long each time. -- Rillke(q?) 09:39, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Linked Categories

[edit]

It would be helpfull, if a Category (e.g. in Edit-mode) can show you, which pages of other projects like wikipedias are linking here. --K@rl (talk) 03:50, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Total number

[edit]

A total number of uploaded files by user should be seen in the beginning of the page. This statistic has disappeared during the last year or two and now I cannot find how many files are uploaded by me or some other users.--MrPanyGoff 08:28, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Number of views and external uses

[edit]

Great tool, and maybe you may add a number of file views, in the last ¿2 months? (for example), using the API of https://tools.wmflabs.org/pageviews/ , I hope this is not very laggy. And maybe it could be useful a link to search external uses of one image, like the reversal search of Google Images. But in that case I guess there would be a lot of results on Wikipedia mirror pages. Cheers. --UAwiki (talk) 13:07, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
