- Oppose I've looked at it a couple of times and it isn't outstanding to me. Subject is a plus and quality is good, but the compo (surroundings) is a minus. Overall not FP to me, sorry Poco a poco (talk) 18:09, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Is this one suggested below FP, do you think Poco a poco, Wolverine? Charlesjsharp (talk) 19:56, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose With such a slow moving animal, it shouldn't difficult to get a better composition. Yann (talk) 15:42, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- I have no issue with the other two opposes, but yours underestimates the challenges of tortoise photography. These animals have no ground clearance so the only chance of a clear shot is on a hard surface like a rock or man-made path. Look on Google. This is not their natural habitat; they cross paths as quickly as they can. They are not that slow moving and when you are close-up and trying to get to tortoise-eye-level to get a good PoV, they do not stay in frame for very long. This is an action shot of a wild animal at the side of a track, hence 1/1250 sec and the gravelly surroundings that Poco a poco points out. 11:54, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

- Comment: I would support this instead, which has a more pleasant composition. --The Cosmonaut (talk) 15:20, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
- Definitely better. Yann (talk) 19:29, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
