- Oppose I know we had a problem with the tight crop last time, but I don't think adding a wide black border is an acceptable solution. Daniel Case (talk) 04:51, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose for the moment. I do think that adding more black around it is an acceptable solution in general, as quite obviously the original creators did exactly the same. What you see here is not a celestial body plus endless space around it, but a celestial body and a circular black Passe-partout that was added in post (see jagged lines along the border plus the fact that there's zero variation or noise in the color of space). The problem here is that two different blacks have been used. The new additional border is plain black (#000000), but for the original passe-partout gimp's eye-dropper tool gives me #040404.
