- Info All by A.Savin. The image shows this Moscow's landmark from a less usual angle: from the Moskva River bridge rather than from the Red Square. The view isn't very different though, that's the very special feature of this building. - A.Savin 20:58, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

- Comment -- Cons: crop feels too tight, unimpressive foreground.Fotoriety (talk) 00:10, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support The street lights are disturbing. Not detailed as the existing FP. But I like this view as more interesting. JKadavoor Jee 11:57, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

- Comment I don´t mind the crop, agree with Fotoriety on foreground. The cars must go... --Tomascastelazo (talk) 17:01, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- Not sure if they really must: we'd have perhaps too tight crop below, and the wall is also part of the ensemble. - A.Savin 08:52, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
- Cropping off the cars would totally ruin the composition (I tested it) - in my opinion it is good at its current state. -- Felix König ✉ 18:01, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

- Support The cars are disturbing for me. But I like. --Rjcastillo (talk) 03:00, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support Well... I guess, this photo deserve to be FP anyway. --Alex Florstein (talk) 09:44, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support I actually like the cars. Without them, I would have thought it was smaller than it actually is. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 10:03, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

- Oppose Only because of the busy foreground with the cars, sorry. I disagree with King of Hearts: the scale is given by persons too.--Jebulon (talk) 13:35, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- I think the cars can be easily cropped out (if required); but the lamp poles will remain. JKadavoor Jee 16:20, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose -- Sorry Savin, it is a good picture but not special enough for promotion. I don't like the cars either but am not sure if a crop would work. I think we need a really special photograph of the subject, the existing FP (which is mine) no longer makes my bells ring... Did you try a panorama? I would like to go back to Moscow one day... Alvesgaspar (talk) 19:06, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support - I think the car brings perspective and a bit of context to it so no problem there. If anything the lamps are more of a distraction, but not to much for me. --heb [T C E] 13:48, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

- Oppose As for me, I don't see anything special in this photo. This building is photographed every day hundreds times, so the photo should have something really extraordinal to go in FP.
As for the technical side, I noticed that the building is turned CCW a bit. Measurement in GiMP gave 0.8 degrees. And I think that the image need some contrast adjustment, since colors look pretty pale for me. I personally prefer something like this (see thumbnail, which I placed above to be near the original image). Still, the clouds are too blue. --Ximeg (talk) 10:16, 8 November 2012 (UTC)- The alternative version has noise on the sky, so I wouldn't replace, otherwise OK to me. - A.Savin 13:12, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
- If you have RAW file, you can start from it and make the required adjustments in order to keep the quality. --Ximeg (talk) 00:01, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

- (weak) Oppose really not bad, impressive building, nice image, but I agree about the foreground and the image seems relatively soft and a little bit contrastless to me. IMHO, the present FP is just insignificant better than yours (the FP has also a bottom crop problem, yours has a better lighting). --kaʁstn Disk/Cat 14:32, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose There are cars in the picture --Kasir (talk) 21:42, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
