•  Info HDR shot (3 frames) of the interior staircase of 311 steps of the Monument to the Great Fire of London (also known as just the Monument), a fluted Doric column in the City of London (England) dedicated to the Great Fire of London (1666). The column was constructed between 1671 and 1677 on the site of St. Margaret's, Fish Street, the first church to be burnt down by the Great Fire, with 62 m is the tallest isolated stone column in the world.   Slaunger: Yes, I am pretty sure that is looks quite real. There are some examples here: [1], [2], [3]. In other shots of the same category it looks different because either a flash was used or the picture was taken from the top, where colors look different. Poco² 21:04, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

•  Oppose Spiral staircases are always fascinating. The exposure is handled well, thought there appears to a multi-exposure-ghost affecting the bottom right. My main problem is that is really isn't appealing looking up, with all the wires, stains and dirt. A spiral photo has to rejoice in the geometry but the iron rail on the right, which takes a sharp turn down the image, breaks this, and the underneaths of the steps form a low-contrast brown rather than a clear spiral. One problem with any photo looking straight up or down, is how to orient it. I think this one makes much, much more sense to my brain if rotated 180-degrees. I can then see the banister following the stairs up the column from left to right before curving up and around. I have attempted to shoot this staircase myself, looking down, and uploaded File:Spiral staircase, Monument, London.jpg in June. That one is perhaps too grainy (at ISO 3,200) but more geometrically enjoyable and abstract to my eye. -- Colin (talk) 18:49, 8 October 2014 (UTC)

I really tried to look for a way to place the camera for a long exposure but there wasn't any. Poco² 19:52, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
