Comment Just some info about this place. Fårö is known worldwide for its stark, desolate and minimalist limestone beaches. This photo captures that perfectly with the simple fishing huts and one lone person. This is where Ingmar Bergman lived and made many of his films. He came to the island when he was scouting for locations, fell in love with the place and stayed the rest of his life.
