- Support Another sword-billed hummingbird photo, this one's another nice shot, sharper wings than the last one AryKun (talk) 13:44, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

- Oppose Nothing wrong about the overall quality, but unlike this recent FP composition does not convince me -- without the flower this looks too static or even "frozen" and besides the bird and the nice background there is really nothing to see. This is same species, if we need a further FP of it, I think this should be at least as good as the previous. --A.Savin 14:38, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
- Comment With a 'studio' lighting set up, these expert photographers get amazing results. Charlesjsharp (talk) 15:37, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

- Support In reply to A.Savin, it looks to me more like the bird is hovering, which hummingbirds can do. What do you mean about "studio lighting," Charles? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:03, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
- I have no idea what type of set up the photographer used, but I have seen groups of hummingbird photographers use elaborate studio boxes with sugar-coated flowers, artifical backgroun boards and automatic triggers for camera and a set of flash guns. I've also seen this type of set-up used. Nothing wrong with these set-ups, but it might be helpful to reveal the techniques used. Some butterfly photographers use artificial backgrounds too. - Page not found for the link, but yes, it would definitely be interesting to know more about his techniques. However, since this is a Flickr photo, it might be harder to get a reply from him. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:47, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
- Not sure why it doesn't work Ikan Kekek, but you can copy and paste URL from edit view. Charlesjsharp (talk) 21:34, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
