- Oppose Really impressive specimen, but the noise level is too high for me. --Ivar (talk) 17:16, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I'm opposed too I give you a lot of credit for getting a usable image out of this situation, Derek, having once tried it myself. However, while it may be a QI, it does not reach the level of featurable. I hadn't noticed the noise, but the DoF (which the high ISO may have forced on you, I understand) leaves you with noticeable blurring even without looking at the image in full res. Then there's the slight posterizing of the scales closer to the camera. Daniel Case (talk) 18:56, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
- I nominated this on advice of Yann. It's true: the noise is high, the DoF only moderate. I expected some opposes. For me, the composition, focus, and "wow" are excellent and the noise is not distracting. It still looks pretty good even at an A3 size @ 150dpi. -- Ram-Man 19:39, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
