Comment This looks like a mosaic rather than a painting, and there is a stitching error. So I doubt the quality of the photograph. --Uoaei1 (talk) 19:24, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Comment Not a mosaic (tempera and gold leaf are painting techniques) but it is painted in a style to emulate a Bysantine mosaic, hence the gold leaf. Mosaics were very fashionable at the time, but few could afford them. I agree that the colors are not very well captured.
