Comment I think it is totally beyond the quality requirements for a VI (= picture from a cell phone). It is relevant only if you say that because of that, another picture is better suited. Maybe Lycaon and you (and any other interested reviewer) can agree on which version of this picture is the best one? --Eusebius (talk) 13:54, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I prefer this version as the lighting is much better. However, as I slightly edited this version, it wouldn't be proper for me to vote for it. Lycaon (talk) 01:04, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment If you want to vote, I'm pretty sure you can: "Comments are welcome from everyone, but neither the nominator nor the original image author may vote (that does not exclude voting from users who have edited the image with a view to improving it)" (quoted from right below) --Eusebius (talk) 07:08, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment The orientation does not convey false information which the flash light in the other image certainly does. B.p.18:50, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I'm not convinced by the argumentation just above, and this one "does not illustrate the subject well" enough, imo: I would like to see the Helix better...--Jebulon (talk) 10:52, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Support Damn! Can't vote for mine, but this one ticks the relevant boxes. I would still love to know where it was found though... Lycaon (talk) 23:02, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Previous reviews Comment Be aware that Stephen Foster Memorial is partially obstructing the Cathedral of Learning in this shot. —Notyourbroom (talk) 16:36, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply] Oppose This is not a current photo and does not represent the structure in its original or current state. The Cathedral of Learning no longer has this coloration as the soot/staining was removed during a 2007 cleaning and restoration. The temporary fencing along the bottom left of the photo has also been removed. The base is also obstructed by the Stephen Foster Memorial which, to the those unfamiliar with the structure, might be confused as being part of the Cathedral of Learning. The plane to the top left of the Cathedral is also a distracting element. Crazypaco (talk) 22:50, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Request I'm afraid this image is lacking both a source (please fix that quickly!), a geotag and an "information" template, or some equivalent. Also, its size is borderline, it's exactly review size! I'm also bothered by the crosse of the guy being a little blurry on the picture, which is a shame since it is a key feature. This picture is interesting as well (but probably difficult to geocode, and not so sharp), but I think my favourite is this one, even though the ball bearer is seen from behind. Besides, it would be quite easy to geocode. What do you think? Additionally, would you be ok to make the scope simply "Lacrosse"? --Eusebius (talk) 21:22, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
File:D1 Lacrosse.jpg looks really good even though it is from behind. Let me put an information template on it and geocode it and we could change the nomination. Also I've changed the scope to just "lacrosse" in case we go ahead with this nomination (was a little unsure on what to put anyway). --Yarnalgo (talk) 21:55, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please notify previous voters of this change. Remember: "A support vote that was made before a change of scope is not counted unless it is reconfirmed afterwards; an oppose vote is counted unless it is changed or withdrawn".
