- Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought
I request approval for double redirect fixing and broken redirect fixing (or tagging them for speedy deletion if not possible to fix).
- Automatic or manually assisted
Bot operates semi-automatically, that is, I issue the orders to the bot via my CMD console, and I'm around watching the console and the bot edits while running, but for some tasks I don't manually confirm each edit.
- Edit type
At their operators' pleasure for now. I run the bot at intermitents periods of time, basically when I see that something needs to be done. I'd like to move my bot to run in the Tool Labs some day in the future though, so I could keep regular tasks running for other projects where my bot has flag and is approved for editting.
- Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute)
This is configurable, by default, PWB has a throttle limit of one edit (1) per 10 seconds, but if this community would like the bot to run faster/slower I can do that.
- Bot flag requested
Yes.
- Programming language(s)
- Aditional comments
Bot is flagged and is running for similar tasks at other Wikimedia projects.

Discussion
- @MarcoAurelio: Are you aware that other bots currently are approved to run this task and are running without issue? I see no demand for this task. ~riley (talk) 22:25, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- It was probable that other bots were doing this, yes. Nonetheless, if I can give a hand from time to time in the area I'd be willing to do it. I don't think there's numerus clausus on how many bots can be doing the same task. Notwithstanding, if there's no need for another one or my help is unwanted, I will happily drop this request. —MarcoAurelio 22:29, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- While there is not numerus clausus, I know of at least bot that runs pywikibot redirect.py in it's cron tab every hour, and another bot that runs daily via cron tab. If there is not enough broken/double redirects around for you to run a trial, I think that goes to show this should be dropped. Not that the help is unwanted, please do not take it take way. ~riley (talk) 22:36, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- No, no offence taken & I appreciate your comments. If this aspect of the project maintenance is already well served I'm willing to drop this request :) Thanks. —MarcoAurelio 23:37, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

- I withdraw my nomination given that the project seems to be well attended in the tasks I intended to perform. Sorry for the troubles. —MarcoAurelio 23:39, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
