Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought:
- Updating metadata on images previously uploaded by the same bot, or metadata on other material from the British Library (those using {{British Library image}} and related templates)
- In the immediate case, this is to fix a trivial error in the template for the recent Ordnance Survey Drawings upload (I got a lat/lon pair mixed up and didn't realise until too late).
- In the long run, I would like to use it to make similar small corrections to the metadata in {{British Library image}} and elsewhere to make sure that the links to original images and catalogue records are correct and consistent. However, I'm happy to put in a second request for this.
Automatic or manually assisted:
- Automatic (manually-triggered) but the first edits in each batch would be run manually to check for glitches.
Edit type (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run):
- One time runs as and when needed (probably infrequent)
Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute): Can be throttled as required, but would probably run ~4/minute unless requested otherwise.
Bot flag requested: (Y/N): No.
Programming language(s): Standard pywikipedia bot framework.

Discussion
- Please make a test run for each kind of task. Please use language templates for each non numeric/ID field in image descriptions. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:46, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
- @Andrew Gray: I see that the bot is used to upload new files; is there anything that we can do to close this request? Have you implemented the suggestions @EugeneZelenko proposed? odder (talk) 22:54, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- Info I'm closing this request as stale due to lack of answer from the bot owner for more than a month. odder (talk) 18:14, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
