Discussion
- The name of the page should probably be the name of the bot ID that approval is sought for, it makes it easier to track things. I'll move it later if the requester doesn't... ++Lar: t/c 13:01, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Do you have a sample run we can examine? We can just look at contribs to be sure, but if you have particular examples of where it did clever things that might be good. ++Lar: t/c 13:01, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I think will be good idea to use {{No tag message}} instead of {{Image source}} for user's notifications (as User:CommonsDelinker does). User's talk page will much less in size in case of huge number of files without source/license. --EugeneZelenko 14:18, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Lar: Ehm, I think not to have understood your first question, sorry. For the second, please see the edit that I'm doing (I'm modifying the Bot for Commons, so it can make some errors..) or here (searching Unverified). EugeneZelenko: The problem is that for my standard, it's better to use the other message (indeed I should have the image's name in the message and not in the header..) --Filnik 17:57, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry if I wasn't clear. You created a page named Commons:Bots/Requests for flags/Filnik but the page should have been named Commons:Bots/Requests for flags/Filbot ... it is easier to find that way. I moved the page for you. ++Lar: t/c 22:49, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ahn, understood ^__^ Sorry for the mistake :-) --Filnik 15:21, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

- No problem! Do you think we need to make the instructions clearer? ++Lar: t/c 15:35, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- No :-) YourBotName it's enough clear, I think. But I was in hurry so the mistakes can happen :-) --Filnik 15:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

- Sample run, please? -- Bryan (talk to me) 13:35, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- The Bot is currently running :-) (on toolserver ;)) It should work without problems also because it's currently running perfectly on it.wiki ^__^ --Filnik 08:32, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- So, It's ok or not? :-) --Filnik 14:41, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- Should be fine. You appear to be picking up what the CommonsDelinker script misses/leaves behind. No harm in checking things twice, I think. CommonsDelinker checks 20 mins after upload. Would be nice if you make it 25 mins. Cheers! Siebrand 21:49, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

- 25 min seems a good idea to me (or 30 ... whatever it takes). No objections. ++Lar: t/c 12:53, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- siebrand, when I was developing the Bot, has asked me to skip the new images instead of sleeping some times. So, now the Bot skips the new 100 images :-) --Filnik 18:48, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Looks OK to me. -- Bryan (talk to me) 20:18, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
