Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute): For older files it's fast, for new POTDs and MOTDs it would be less than 100 edits per day. (as of 2020)

@Eatcha: Not adding the language that is already there is because there are a few users who's been adding the description in their languages. See eg. history of this photo. Template:Potd/2020-03-22 (en) is speacial because there is a lot of text about World Water Day which shouldn't be in the file's description. It's a text that's relevant only for the POTD description but not for the file's description.
