Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought: Upload en:Royal Society Open Science CC-BY-4.0 journals to Category:Journals from Royal Society Open Science under appropriate category (Categories would be manually created). I'm setting the description as the Harvard-style citation and thus can be achieved programmatically (Example: File:A Bayesian phylogenetic study of the Dravidian language family.pdf). Uploading them manually took several hours for one single Issue Category:Royal Society Open Science Journal Volume 10 Issue 3. Thanks!

- Yes, that would be helpful. I'd appreciate if you would be able to help in setting it up -- DaxServer (talk) 18:42, 17 April 2023 (UTC)

- How do you expect these files to be used? Multichill (talk) 18:04, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- I believe providing easy access to these journals would be of immense value as these are of utmost reliability. At a future point of time, I'm planning to add the content to Wikisource, a Wikidata mapping of each entry as structured as possible. Say, for ex, the File:A Bayesian phylogenetic study of the Dravidian language family.pdf would be linked to all authors' Wikidata, Journal Issue's WD, and all in turn also link the Wikisource and their Wikipedia articles where applicable. -- DaxServer (talk) 09:17, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- I think this can be approved. Additional thoughts? --Krd 07:16, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
