The bot use meta:CommonsHelper2 to transfer/convert the templates. But there are at moment only a few pages so that many templates have not changed. For the self-templates I add a new algorithm. Jan Luca (talk) 06:06, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The bot should add internationalized headers ("{{int:filedesc}}" instead of "Beschreibung, Quelle", "{{date|2009|06|03}}" instead of "3.6.2009" (I wouldn't mind "2009-06-03") and so on). People may make mistakes (I only hold it against them if they keep making them after being told), bots may not edit until they don't make mistakes. That's not because bots are less than humans, but because they will just as happily make that mistake the millionth time as they made it the first time.   • I today used the bot without my knowledge (I thought CommonsHelper2 would also use Magnus Manske's bot), and I like CommonsHelper2. It's much easier customizable over at Meta, there isn't that much redundant text and the table looks much better than the old upload log.
