Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought:
- Copyright patrolling - as a response to 2015 community wishlist and, more specifically, the 2022 wishlist and phab:T120453, the bot uses Google's Cloud Vision API to automatically reverse image search newly uploaded CC BY SA 4.0 images by people with under 200 edits. If there are more than a few results it is assumed that the license is incorrect and flags it for human review. If there is support for it, automatic deletion for the most obvious copyright violations (20+ points) could also be implemented. You can read more about the algorithm at the bots user page.
- Editing and updating pages with results in own userspace
Automatic or manually assisted:
Edit type (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Continuous
Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute): The results page will be updated once every 5 minutes.
Bot flag requested: (Y/N): Yes
Programming language(s): TypeScript, AGPL licensed, source

- Please make test run. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:25, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, I will ping you with results. Ed6767 (talk) 16:39, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- How are suspicious images to be flagged? How will this bot handle cases such as Flickr images imported under compatible licenses that still appear in searches? There is not enough explained in this proposal to give me confidence that this will actually help reduce work for patrollers. Sennecaster (talk) 00:29, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- I feel like this has context issues. I believe that a semi-automated tool similar to CopyPatrol would be better. I am currently creating such a tool, more details are at m:User:EpicPupper/Fortuna. EpicPupper (talk) 03:49, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
@Ed6767: Please report current status. --Krd 05:50, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Krd, forgot about this, but I don't think that this would be cost effective for me at the moment so I'd like to retract this request. Ed6767 (talk) 15:00, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- Closing as withdrawn. Please advise when this shall be reopened. --Krd 07:26, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
