Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought: Automatically identify files which belong in (Category:Animated_GIF_files_exceeding_the_50_MP_limit), adding files to category if needed, and removing files that doesn't belong. These files are affected by the bug in [1]. May also create a second category with files greater than 50MP and affected by bug.

  • It seems to me that if anything adding and removing files in a hidden maintenance category based on objective criteria, isn't something that should appear in normal logs. But I don't seem to find any guidance on what should or should not have the flag. BFG (talk) 12:19, 3 March 2019 (UTC)

  You didn't mention before that you want to add or remove anything, but just identify files, this is why I'm asking. Please provide a more detailed description or your intentions. --Krd 12:31, 3 March 2019 (UTC)
