Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought: Adding fawiki featured pictures to {{Assessments}} in files which don't have it. This query shows all fawiki featured pictures (with some exceptions that I will manually remove from the list) and this one shows all files in commons with {{Assessments}} template and fawiki parameter. I will compare the two lists using AWB compare tool and add the template (or parameter, in case files already have {{Assessments}}) to those files that exist in the first query but not in the second one. I will use two advanced replace rule in order to do this.
P.S: This bot doesn't have AWB permission here. If I need to submit a request in Commons:Requests for rights#AutoWikiBrowser access, please tell me.
Automatic or manually assisted: Automatic
Edit type (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): One time run, updating queries every month and doing the task again if needed.
Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute): Based on fawiki contributions, not more than 30 edits per minute
Bot flag requested: (Y/N): Y
Programming language(s): AWB

Hi Ahmad. Please follow steps I to IV above and report when completed. You will need to request AWB permission for your bot account to perform the test edits. --Schlurcher (talk) 07:59, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, Schlurcher. I created bot userpage and requested for AWB permission. AhmadTalk 08:46, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
- Bot's account has AWB permission now. I think will be good idea to plan for task when Commons:Structured data will be fully implemented. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:07, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: Thank you. I conducted two edits, now it triggers captcha and got stucked. Could you please give it confirmed user right? Many thanks. AhmadTalk 16:12, 1 July 2019 (UTC)
- Done. Please remove →top: from edit summaries. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 13:37, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: Thanks. You can see 50 test edits here. But I couldn't find any way to remove →section name from edit summary. How can I do that?
- By the way, bot also adds fawiki-nom to {{Assessments}} template. AhmadTalk 16:06, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
- Also, I can set it to replace {{QualityImage}} with {{Assessments}}. I can do it for Valued Image as well. AhmadTalk 13:33, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- Sure, but please make a test run. But edit summary should be different.--EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:21, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: I will make a test run, but how can I remove →section name: from edit summary? I can't find an option to do so. AhmadTalk 14:36, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't know answer :-( You should ask other AWB users. Probably w:en:Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser is best place for that. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:41, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: Thanks. Fixed the edit summary problem. I conducted 30 more edits, in this test run I also merged {{QualityImage}} in {{Assessments}} (like in Special:Diff/356940427). AhmadTalk 15:50, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- Looks OK for me. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 13:36, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

- @Alvesgaspar: Hello. I was checking bot contributions, I noticed that you deleted quality parameter in {{Assessments}} (here). I'm a bit confused, why would we need consensus to merge {{QualityImage}} in {{Assessments}}? AhmadTalk 16:32, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Ahmad252: Hi! When this template was created, some years ago, we had a discussion whether it should be used for all types of image assessing or not (FP, QI, VI, etc). The consensus was that it should only be used to Featured pictures in the various wikis. Further attempts to enlarge the scope were not successful. Sorry for not being able to spot those discussions. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 22:48, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Alvesgaspar: Yes, I agree that using {{Assessments}} only to state a quality image isn't reasonable, but these images aren't only quality images; but are featured in some wikis, too (I mean, we need to use Assessments in these files). However, I think it isn't really important, I can just disable it. Thanks for response. AhmadTalk 07:42, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- I think this is the discussion mentioned: Commons:Village pump/Featured picture template poll. The summary matches what @Alvesgaspar: said, i.e. that the assessments template should include only featured picture information and that a merge with quality image information is not wanted. Bots should generally not perform controversial edits, so it might be best to disable the merge of quality image information into the assessment template. This said, I have no conderns with the requested task of adding fawiki featured pictures to {{Assessments}} in files which don't have it. @Ahmad252: please clarify if you can agree to this as I think the bot can be approved then. --Schlurcher (talk) 09:13, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Schlurcher: Thank you. Sure, I have no problem. I will disable this option so it won't merge them. AhmadTalk 13:17, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- There is also another minor change: I changed the query a little bit to get all results, since some nominations contain more than one picture. The new query shows all FPs, since it takes file name, not page name. In addition, there was a problem that User:Gnosis reported in fawiki: File:Pasargad232.JPG isn't featured, but File:Pasargad232-edit.JPG is. This new query will solve this problem as well. There is no change in the way bot adds/sets {{Assessments}}, so I believe we don't need another test run to check if it works correctly. Thanks. AhmadTalk 10:28, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: Hi. What is the next step now? There is no feedback after two days. AhmadTalk 11:00, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- Sometimes feedback could take time. I'll wrap up commenting this week if feedback will not be given. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 13:43, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

If there are no objections, I think bot status should be granted. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:19, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
