Videos incomplete?
[edit]There seem to be many videos missing. Is it possible that some were uploaded to Commons but not assigned the right category? This video seems to be one example of that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Engaging_reseachers_to_contribute_to_Wikipedia_video.webm The same might apply to others. Could this be easily sorted out? The same applies to the presentation files, they also don't seem to be complete on Commons or not assigned the right category. - Many videos are indeed missing due to many technical problems that we had. But the example you have is a link to English Wikipedia, which correctly has no categories there. If you click through to Wikimedia Commons you will find that File:Engaging reseachers to contribute to Wikipedia video.webm indeed is categorized with Category:Wikimania 2019 videos (which is the main category for the videos). - Ainali thanks for your reply. I worked out that I couldn't find that presentation because there was a typo in the file title. I tried to change that but don't know how - can you please do it? The second "r" is missing in "researcher". So when I use Control+F on the page with the search term "researcher" it doesn't show up. My second question is what about the presentation files? That folder seems even less complete than the video folder? Surely every "space leader" has the presentations and could upload them? - They might have them, but that doesn't mean that they know the license of it or that they are even freely licensed. But I agree, they space leaders should push the presenters to either upload the presentations themselves or let them know the prefered license. Ainali (talk) 06:43, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
