Vytis or Pahonia?

[edit]

The official name of the Coat of arms in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is Pahonia. And Vitis is a name that appeared in the XIX century among Lithuanians, and is not used anywhere else. It is used only as a synonym for the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania. Previously, it was called Waykimas in Lithuanian, which is a translation of the word "Pahonia" from Russian. --Лобачев Владимир (talk) 10:09, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

«Vytis» is just a LT name for Category:Coats of arms of Lithuania, so Category:Vytis is a full duplicate of Category:Coats of arms of Lithuania and should be merged with Category:Coats of arms of Lithuania. --Kazimier Lachnovič (talk) 16:44, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
