Category talk:Visitor attractions in Şanlıurfa

Why do people hide an important category like this in "Tourism in ..." which itself is in "Economy in ....". If I want to visit a town, I do not open such categories, I expect the attractions mentioned on top level.

And then: if you create a category like this, why fill it with unconvincing destinations (one empty), and neglect mention of the the two important museums, one or two major archaeological sites (Göbekli Tepe and maybe Harran), and the Balıklıgöl with the castle rising above it (hiding both ad Buildings in Şanlıurfa)?

I think I know the answer: because of the constant mixing up of the provincial level, the district level and the town level.

I intend to create a category "Visitor attractions in Şanlıurfa town", but as I am afraid people will react, telling me some of the items should be in Eyyübiye, others in Haliliye and of course some in Karaköprü, I am just testing the waters. Dosseman (talk) 15:19, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
