I suggest to move this Category from Category:Views from the tower of Altes Rathaus Görlitz to Category:Views from Rathausturm Görlitz. This would be the common name compared to other categories "Views from towers in Germany". de: Ich schlage eine Verschiebung dieser Kategorie vor von Category:Views from the tower of Altes Rathaus Görlitz nach Category:Views from Rathausturm Görlitz. @Muck50: Should be "Altes Rathaus" or "Rathausturm" treated as untranslantable proper names? Other countries use "old town hall" or "town hall tower" in similar cases, independently on the local language. English "views from" combined with German words as Altes Rathaus or Rathausturm look a bit macaronic. That's why the proposal is difficult to review. --ŠJů (talk) 16:14, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

@ŠJů: You are wright with your arguments, but from my point of view it's not that clear. I looked up for several town halls in Germany and their Category:building and the associated Category:Views from bulding. There is only one case, where the Lemma in Wikimedia is fully in English (matching your argues) in both Categories: de:Neues Rathaus (München) > Wikimedia: Category:New Town Hall (Munich) and Category:Views from New Town Hall (Munich). One other Example is a mixture: de:Kieler Rathaus > WM for the tower: Category:Kieler Rathausturm and Category:Views from Kiel City Hall Tower. This is the same as it is now with de:Rathaus Görlitz > WM: Category:Altes Rathaus Görlitz > for its tower: Category:Rathausturm Görlitz and Category:Views from the tower of Altes Rathaus Görlitz. All other examples, which I found, show Category:Views from "German Lemma of the building" (see here): de:Neues Rathaus (Leipzig) > Category:Rathausturm, Neues Rathaus (Leipzig) and Category:Views from Rathausturm, Neues Rathaus (Leipzig); de:Neues Rathaus (Dresden) > Category:Neues Rathaus, Dresden and Category:Views from Neues Rathaus (Dresden); de:Neues Rathaus (Hannover) > Category:Neues Rathaus (Hannover) and Category:Views from Neues Rathaus (Hannover); de:Braunschweiger Rathaus > Category:Braunschweiger Rathaus and Category:Views from Braunschweiger Rathaus. Possibly there are more examples, which I don't know for the time. But I know that in the German WP this mixture English-German is also very common with castles, their towers and views from them.
