Classification by Edgar J. Mandel "Metal Charms and Amulets of China"

[edit]

This category follows Edgar J. Mandel's book 📖 as opposed to Gary Ashkenazy's Primaltrek / Primal Trek for organising Chinese numismatic charms, I suggest that future categories use both Gary Ashkenazy's style and Edgar J. Mandel's style, to see how this style is implemented using Mandel I use ZENO.RU - Oriental Coinage Database as a reference, note that these charms are organised completely different from GarY Ashkenazy's Primaltrek / Primal Trek and focuses more on the style of the engraving as opposed to what's engraves, I think that both systems can exist simultaneously, however I still prefer to follow the style of Gary Ashkenazy's Primaltrek / Primal Trek more closely as that's the style maintained by the article on the English Wikipedia. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 17:36, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
