Chinese and Korean are important languages in regards to Troy since many immigrants have come from China and Korea.

I notice one school in the Troy School District has published a Tamil language document, and I am aware many Indians have settled in Troy. Troy has one of the largest Indian communities in Metro Detroit, so in some instances it may help to have descriptions in Indian languages. But the Indians coming to the U.S. have high English fluency so the Indian languages are not as high of a priority compared to Chinese and Korean.

The same Troy school published an Arabic document and I think it's because of the Chaldean (Iraqi Catholic) population that has settled here. I don't know what the English fluency levels of the Chaldeans are compared to the Chinese and Koreans. WhisperToMe (talk) 21:29, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
