I have been putting many pictures in several of the categories mentioned here. I also move many pictures from more general categories to the Tombs one. In doing so it drives me mad that I have to go through several layers of categories, starting with Architecture in Petra, then Buildings in Petra, then Tombs of Petra . I saw there used to be a direct entry until in 2018 a user, Codas, thought it opportune to change all this. Whereas I understand the logic of sub-sub-sub categories, I think that when tombs are the most photographed objects in a main category, i.e. Petra, Jordan, hiding those tombs in a box within a box within a box leads to unnecessary chaos. For that reason I now will put the current category in the main one also, at least for the days I will spend moving all those tombs that now are all over the place. I do not even delve into the (in my mind) madness of a category like Stone buildings in Petra, where one can find tombs hewn out of the rocks mixed with buildings where at least individual stones were used in building them. Where also some tombs are mentioned as separate entities, others not.Dosseman (talk) 12:01, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
