I know it shows in translations of Czech, Polish and perhaps also German origin; but native English-speaking authors usually show hesitation about using any translation at all when writing about the (East-)Central European phenomenon od Kammern/komory, as there was no direct counterpart in Britain and/or its (former) colonies. The closest "true" English term, as far as I know, is actually treasury (when speaking about Kammer/komora as a collection of assets) and exchequer (when Kammer/komora is the authority that administers the treasury); though none of these is an exact match.

But, well, this being said, I can't deny that chamber indeed is simply the most frequent of all translations there are, when there are any at all. So I can raise no actual objections - just warnings that Teschen Chamber won't be exactly comprehensible to people unfamiliar with the original German/Czech/Polish term. --David Beneš (talk) 10:48, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
