The Hands of Victory is more commonly known as the Victory Arch or the Swords of Qādisīyah Details are as follows:
- Designer: Khaled al-Rahal (who died before the project was completed) and finished by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat
- Location: Zawra Park (Grand Festivities Square), Baghdad (pair of arches mark the entrances to the Park)
- Construction Materials: Concrete, stone, stainless steel and bronze
- Height: 130ft (42m)
- Start date: 1986
- Completion date: 1989 (inaugurated on 8 August, 1989)
- Dedicated to: Fallen Iraqi soldiers, especially from the Iran-Iraq war
