Fire temple of Amol

[edit]

@Orijentolog: This temple made in Sassanian period ,before the birth of Muhammad Shams al-Rasul. MehdiTalk 09:29, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mehdi: scholarly sources give 15th century and explicitly say there are no any ancient remains in Amol. I can see that assumption about fire temple is from A. Godard and it's outdated. If archeologists prove his ideas, I'll insert it, no worry. --Orijentolog (talk) 14:57, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We have 2 different national codes for this building! (1057 and 1060) So we should use other categories and names related to Fire temple of Amol and Zoroastrianism for this location, too. The Amol Fire Temple is a Sassanid (226- 651 CE) religious structure which has a conical dome and moqarnas decorations. Earthquakes have significantly damaged the structure. [1] Muhammad was only buried there and no new building was built for him! --MehdiTalk 15:56, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Mehdi: noooo dear Mehdi, that would be wrong because it's the same site. Some Iranian registered monuments have two IDs, like Soltani Mosque (Semnan), Shah Abbasi Caravanserai of Lasjerd, Khosrowgerd Tower and so on. --Orijentolog (talk) 18:18, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No. I don't see any wronge or mistake in registration. Please download this file in persian. (3th Reference in fa wiki) . This file is full version with many details in Persian. No. 77 is میل خسروگرد and No. 160 is مناره خسروگرد. Mil and Manareh are diferent. Manareh created above of Mill. For more information. --MehdiTalk 18:42, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Mehdi: You gave me link "toiran.com" which is a tourist site, without any professional value. For referencing details about mausoleum inside Wikidata, I used only scholarly sources, as always. Claims about fire temple are simply wrong. And yes, it is the same site, like the Khosrowgerd case. Open first (PDF) and second link (PDF), and check yourself. The same location, the same year of construction, the same photos. --Orijentolog (talk) 17:21, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for this link and ur descriptions.--MehdiTalk 15:54, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Orijentolog: I started uploading National heritage registration documents with PD-Iran Licensing from iranarchpedia. We can Upload old documents before 50 years ago.--MehdiTalk 15:48, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Are you very sure it's legal? There were several cases of uploading from Iranarchpedia and material was deleted, because they have copyright symbol. Perhaps you can ask Hanooz to be sure, he knows better. --Orijentolog (talk) 16:14, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure. I remember that some years ago I saw zip files of all of these documents on Telegram channels related to architecture and restoration (see: t.me/iranshahrpedia and t.me/marematgar). If you're planning a batch upload you'd better try consulting their corresponding admins to find documents without a watermark. Hanooz 04:15, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure we do not have any problem with watermarks. We can upload any national documents before 50 years ago. --MehdiTalk 04:49, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't mean that their watermark is a copyright matter. I think those are better and more useful without a watermark. Hanooz 05:23, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Hanooz: @Mehdi: I suggest that Mehdi send email to Iranarchpedia and ask. I already communicated with them (a year ago I was objecting when website had issues) and they have been highly cooperative, their director himself answered to me. --Orijentolog (talk) 21:44, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Orijentolog: Ok Dear. I will send them an email after the website is available. I see «This site can’t be reached» error in this website, today.--MehdiTalk 05:33, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great. You could also ask for a list of pdf files or adding a cc license to their website/sending permission to Wikimedia. Hanooz 06:46, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Roger that, dude ;-) --MehdiTalk 07:11, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Orijentolog and Hanooz: The permission request email for uploading ducuments in commons has been sent to the relevant site.--MehdiTalk 07:16, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
