Grounds for the moving "Trams in Sapporo" to "Sapporo Streetcar"
[edit]I moved the Category:Trams in Sapporo to Category:Sapporo Streetcar within the guidelines of Sapporo City Government. As for details, please refer;

- In these documents, “streetcar” is used as a common name, not as part of an official English name for this tramway system. Japaneses are not competent for English language issues. --Juiced lemon 12:35, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- If your point is correct, how do we explain that the city government terms the operating unit "Streetcar Operating Office" in Section 3 of the guideline? In addition, the government mostly using "Streetcar", not "Tram" on the city website (e.g. search "Streetcar site:.city.sapporo.jp" and "Tram site:.city.sapporo.jp" on Google). For these reasons, I think it is reasonable to guess that the city government officially terms this transportation system "Streetcar" not only a common name of the vehicle. Despite this, if you strongly suggest using the word "Tram", I have no intention of dissuading it - but remember, it doesn't mean I agree your suggestion. --J o 16:30, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
