[edit]Actual Pan-African flags use the Rastafarian colors of the flag of Ethiopia: Red, yellow, green. These are particularly significant for having been massively adopted by the newly indendent African countries of the 1950s and 1960s. This other set — red, black, green — was first used by w:Marcus Garvey in the U.S. These two sets of colors share mich of their origins and meaning, but are not the same, and Commons cats about them should reflect this. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 16:18, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
