While there are many fine Richardsonian Romanesque buildings in Seattle, not every photo in this category is Richardsonian Romanesque. In particular, while the Washington Court Building has characteristic "Syrian" arches on its third story windows and entryway, many of the other details are more Italianate in form, despite being rendered in Richardsonian rough-hewn sandstone. The same can be said of the Nord Building, while 211 First is so simply adorned that it's a stretch to say it truly belongs to any architectural style. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.201.122.122 (talk • contribs)

Yes, there may well be too many buildings in this category. I put some of them following listings by the National Register of Historic Places, but in retrospect I think they used the term too broadly.
Like anyone else, you can recategorize images or categories. If you think something is wrongly in this category, do feel free to remove the inappropriate category from the image/subcategory. - Jmabel ! talk 02:38, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
