Incorrect cat structure, I think

[edit]

Currently the category RandstadRail is a subcat of Trams in Rotterdam. This is incorrect, I think: the RandstadRail is a lightrail network connecting Rotterdam, Zoetermeer and The Hague. See en:RandstadRail. How do I make make this a subcat of, say, Rapid transit in the Netherlands? MartinD 07:58, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not that simple. In fact, RandstadRail is a little bit of everything: it will connect the tram system of The Hague with the Rotterdam metro, and it also uses former NS rail tracks. So yes, it should be a subcat of Rapid transit in the Netherlands. But, within The Hague it uses existing tram lines and has a maximum speed of 50 km/h. Therefore this category should also stay a subcat of Trams in The Hague.
In Rotterdam it won't use tram tracks. Currently it uses the former rail track Hofpleinlijn, which will be partly replaced by a new tunnel which will connect it with the metro system. So therefore this category should not be a subcat of Trams in Rotterdam. Dinsdagskind (talk) 10:20, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
