Ringstead vs. Ringsted

[edit]

In English, it has also been correct to spell Ringsted in Denmark Ringstead, though that spelling is used far less today than before. I see no urgent need to rename the category though. SergeWoodzing (talk) 12:49, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I find that hard to believe. Can you cite a source for documentation? 80.167.179.233 23:54, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Do a litle Googling: "Ringstead Denmark"! I'm not in the habit of bluffing or making things up. SergeWoodzing (talk) 03:55, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ingiburga

[edit]

Ingiburga is actually Latin but has also (as with many Latin name forms) been considered a correct English name form for Danish & Swedish Ingeborg (in Sweden only for persons before legal spellings were adopted in 1901) and Norwegian Ingebjørg. SergeWoodzing (talk) 12:54, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
