Without a proper definition, this category is pretty worthless. What exactly is a "promenade portrait" supposed to be? --AndreasPraefcke (talk) 22:29, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

this is from site of Tretiakov Gallery (in Russian)[1]: "walking-portrait" is typical for English tradition etc". If you need more relevant sources for this conception, I have it, but in paper art books and also in Russian. Maybe English language art historian use some other word, in this case we should find it and rename category.Shakko (talk) 17:08, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
