[edit]I can't see as how Hartt was from Massachusetts in any significant way. He studied under Agassiz for a few brief years, that is all. The publication of his book in Boston does not make him from Boston. He was born and bred in Canada, associated himself with educational institutions outside of Massachusetts, and ended by adopting Brazil as his favorite residence. His only interest in MA was Harvard and Agassiz; even so, Harvard is not in Boston. There are zero connections to Boston, except his publisher.Botteville (talk) 12:19, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
