Oppose any move to "Castles in Brandenburg". The "Marmorpalais" for example is certainly not a castle but a Palais, which is somewhat similar to a palace. Certainly more than a castle. 15:25, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

A palace is a magnificent castle, but a castle. If that must be separated, much is in the wrong category. --Botaurus stellaris 17:12, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In English a palace is completely different from a castle. Gryffindor 01:54, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Castle = Burg and Castle = Schloss, and a magnificent castle (Schloss) is a palace = Palast ( or. Palais). This is not separated into German well, this is the problem. --Botaurus stellaris 05:41, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am as well unsad with the category "palaces" which is only a synonym for an extraordinary castle. And here are even small manor houses (Gutshäuser) which can't be described as a casle but as a palace?
